I thought I wouldn't wear a veil until she put one on me with my dream dress. It really made that the 'wow! This is the real deal!' Moment. Until then I was just trying on pretty dresses. After that moment I truly felt like a bride. Like this was really happening. And my hair and makeup looked not...

I thought I wouldn't wear a veil until she put one on me with my dream dress. It really made that the 'wow! This is the real deal!' Moment. Until then I was just trying on pretty dresses. After that moment I truly felt like a bride. Like this was really happening. And my hair and makeup looked not so great! So that will tell you how much it affects the look. What have you decided on for hair and accesories with your dress and is it modern or traditional? I've made a 2 tier white full fingertip length veil that I'm now beading with Swarovski crystals, Pearls and pearlescent seed beads. Although I am making a pearl and wire hair vine just for fun in case I change my mind or can somehow incorporate that too.

    I’m not really using a pattern I just drew a design and started from there, I made a petticoat(hoopskirt) and I’m just building the dress on top of it... imma add layers as I go up the skirt... and then I’ll make the bodice separate and attach both at the end...

    I bought a tiara and a vine from Etsy!! Try buying them on amazon for like $12 to see which you think you would like and talk with your hairstylist to see what she thinks would look good with your hair style! Mine said they will work it around whichever one I wanted to use! I have a veil but am getting a new one, so I’m in the same boat as you in that aspect! I’m worried about stressing over little things like the veil and wonder if it willing even be something I think about in 10 years!

    I skipped the veil due to my hairstyle and used a hair piece and hair vine instead. I also had matching hairpins custom made to gift my bridesmaids.

    Finger tip vail, with a comb and a head band. That way after the ceremony I can remove the vail if needed

    I'm using a hair vine and a veil. I tried them when I found my dress and loved them both, and it was a good.thing I bought them because they stopped making both of them after I placed my order.

    I'm just obsessed with your dress. My stomach isnt quite svelte enough to pull off quite a close hanging dress but it's to die for on you! And I cant get over that back. I'm adding strings of beads on the back and as sleeves on my lace dress. it wont be quite as blingy but hopefully I will love it as much as I love yours. The pictures are my Inspo.
