I thought I wouldn't wear a veil until she put one on me with my dream dress. It really made that the 'wow! This is the real deal!' Moment. Until then I was just trying on pretty dresses. After that moment I truly felt like a bride. Like this was really happening. And my hair and makeup looked not...

I thought I wouldn't wear a veil until she put one on me with my dream dress. It really made that the 'wow! This is the real deal!' Moment. Until then I was just trying on pretty dresses. After that moment I truly felt like a bride. Like this was really happening. And my hair and makeup looked not so great! So that will tell you how much it affects the look. What have you decided on for hair and accesories with your dress and is it modern or traditional? I've made a 2 tier white full fingertip length veil that I'm now beading with Swarovski crystals, Pearls and pearlescent seed beads. Although I am making a pearl and wire hair vine just for fun in case I change my mind or can somehow incorporate that too.

    No veil for me- just an updo with a haircomb. I also plan on wearing a bracelet with my birthstone which was given to me by my parents on my 18th birthday.

    I can’t decide what I want—some sort of metallic crown or possibly a sparkly hair vine. Just means I need to spend more time on Pinterest! 😂

    I really love the look of a half up, half down braided curled look for me, so I don’t know which would go better.

    When she put the veil on me I actually didn’t like the way it looked! I was thinking of putting babies-breath in my hair. I love the way it looks!

    I felt the same way but the stylist helped me figure it out cuz my mom “oh said that’s doing too much” 😂. After the stylist placed them during trial mom was like ohhh that’s pretty😂😂😂. Good Luck!!!

    I'm getting married next fall and we are having a nontraditional, rustic wedding. I'm wearing a fall flowers and leaves wreath with lace ribbons flowing down the back. It is going to look great with my burgundy dress. My bridesmaids are also wearing a more simple wreath. I'm including a pic of my inspiration for my wreath and the bridesmaids wreaths.

    With your hair and face you could pull off pretty much anything. Gorgeous! I like the idea of the curled half up half down maybe with a hair vine or gorgeous hair comb

    It's funny you posted this hair tutorial. my hair is not thin and is the length of just past my shoulders and I still couldn't make it thick enough to make those twists or that bun. Maybe a stylist could do better than me.

    We do have a lot of celtic elements, but not full on renaissance. Here is a pic of my dress so you can see what I mean. Bridesmaids are wearing black dresses bought through Holy Clothing (same place I got mine), which does sell boho and renaissance clothing. However, the men are wearing dress shirts, slacks and ties.

    I have very thick hair and I wanted to go any more intricate with the style I would be a full pack of bobby pins and a can of hairspray. Smiley xd I seriously get flashbacks to when my grandmother would get mad because she couldn't do my hair as a child.
