Oh I def will LadyMonk...I'll be putting them on blast on every place possible! They're trying to build their reviews on the Knot....so I think it'll give me extra pleasure to ding them there!!

Honestly, I think it's the style of the dress. (Mine is the same way). You look amazing in it and I really don't think you should try to lose any weight at all! BUT if it bothers you, maybe let the inch out and wear some shape wear??

What a bunch of incompetent a-holes.

My dream dress was only at one boutique near me but they had so many awful reviews (like ordering too small on purpose and then charging an arm and a leg for alternations) so I decided to save myself the money and heartache and went with a another dress.

Oh and I don't plan on losing 10 lbs anymore....that was only as a last ditch effort if the dress still didn't fit after being let out! I lost 2 lbs in the last week just from being busy, eating better, and working out...but I don't think I could lose 10 lbs unless I was a slave to the gym, and went into starvation mode. Thank God it didn't need to come to that!

Also thank you everyone for the compliments and words of encouragement!! You guys gave me the guts to go talk to them yesterday!! Its a good thing I have a thick skin...some of the salon's comments about weight really could just devastate some girls! Such a pathetic way of conducting business!

After the screw up, I wouldn't get my dress altered with them. I wouldn't trust them. Like the others said, do a review.

I've been following this post and I'm so happy to hear that everything worked out for you! I'd review the shit out of them everywhere that I could. It's terrible that they're suppose to be the professionals and then they measured you completely wrong. Ridiculous.

This is my biggest fear for when my dress does come in - I've lost a ton of weight but I'm so nervous that the size I ordered back in December isn't going to fit! *fingers-crossed* it'll be here in the next week or so.

Yay I'm glad it's working out. Definitely blast them everywhere! Random personal question cause I'm curious. What are you measurements and what's the designer? I think you said they ordered a 6 right?

After those weight comments I would honestly grab my bridal party and protest outside their store. I'm glad it's resolved and they sound like a horrible business!

I'm glad to hear that there is 2" of let out instead of just the one because hun you are skinny and I don't know where you would get 10lbs from!

Keep us updated when you get it let out, I hope that this all ends well for you considering the crap that these people have put you through. I must agree make sure the world knows about this place on every review site possible.

Any bridal salon that has the nerve to tell a bride to lose weight, whether the girl actually needs to or not, is not a place that should be in business!
