Hmmm... Classy? Have to think about that one. We are toying with the idea "I wanna grow old with you" from the "Wedding Singer"

I think we're going with "Last Dance" by Donna Summer but Time of my Life is a good one too!

    Megan,

It's sometimes difficult for the bride/groom to decide to pick either a fast or slow song for their last dance. This is why I like "Last Dance" or "Time of My Life". They both start off slow but end fast.

Megan, are you leaning towards a fast or slow song for the last dance? In my experience I always recommend a fast song. The crowd at the very end is usually the B&G's "party" friends and having the hottest club hit or one that is very relevant to that group tends to leave the most lasting impression. That last song is the one everyone remembers dancing to the most. Whatever energy level you hit with that last song is what people, including you, will associate with the whole evening. This past Saturday, we used "Stronger" by Kanye. This crowd was a huge hip hop type crowd, but you get the point!! Plus, as a band doing that song, we really made it unique for them. Anyway, good luck!!

History In The Making by Darius Rucker is an awesome song too.. I just showed it to FH tonight and he teared up.. I may have to make it our first dance song.. very pretty! here are the lyrics.

    Don’t move Baby Don’t move

    Awww look at you

I just want to take this in

The moonlight dancing off your skin

Our time Lets take our time

I just want to look in your eyes

    and catch my breath

Cuz I just got a feeling

This could be one of those memories

We want to hold on to, cling to,

    one we can’t forget

Baby, this could be our last first kiss

    The door to forever

What if this was that moment

    That chance worth taking

    History in the making

    Inside, baby inside

    Can you feel the butterflies?

    Floating all around

Cuz I can sure feel them now

    Tonight, maybe tonight

Is a start of a beautiful ride

    that will never end

And baby I’ve got a feeling

This could be one of those memories

We want to hold on to, cling to,

    One we can’t forget

Baby, this could be our last first kiss

    The door to forever

    (con't)

When asked this question and we are asked this all the time. I believe you have several choices.

    1. If you and the groom were having a tough time picking your first dance between two songs well this makes it easy to choose one for your first dance and leave the other for you last. This assures you to have the opportunity of dancing to both, together.

    2. if you are not musically inclined...aka you don't know music whatsoever then enlisted some help. Much like you are doing now. Either way I do not believe you can go wrong with either a slow or fast song to end the evening. It's not a bad idea to leave this up to your entertainment, why? Because they are playing to your crowd that night and they should be able to pick what would seem most fitting to end the evening.

    3. Another idea is to go with both fast and slow. The slow dance could be your last dance of the evening (for everyone). Then have the fast song playing in the background as guest head outside for your send off.

    Best Wishes
