FH and I finally landed on something fun for the both of us for the honeymoon! We've been tossing back and forth so many ideas and we agreed Universal Studios (really just for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! Yes!) and Disney--I've never been and they're adding more and more star wars stuff all the time which is exciting for both of us!

What I wondered though is if you think 1 day for both Universal parks is enough? Or should we do 2 at each Universal and Disney respectively? Our Honeymoon is only going to be 5 days max. Ideally 4 though. We're going in October which is an off season so that'll help.

Can anyone help with a timeline?

You need at least 1 day for Universal 1 day for Islands of Adventure 2 days for Magic Kingdom and 1 day for Epcot animal kingdom and Hollywood Studios each I am a season pass holder for Universal sometime 1 day isnt enough for those parks. I am also a Disney vacation planner just remember its never really off season for Disney and in October Magic Kingdom has the not so scary halloween party which is a special event and you need a separate ticket for if your going on a day that event is happening and don't have the special event ticket the park closes at 4pm for regular guest unless you have a wristband you will be asked to leave and they do have people that will stop you to ask for your wristband for the special event.

My FH and I have been vacationing at both places at least 3/4 times, if you're talking about the one in California. Checkout isitpacked.com you can see how the crowd will be when you're going, which helps out a lot. We start off at universal, to get us used to a lot of walking. be sure to get the front of the line pass. You can basically get a front of a line pass for every ride and get great seats for every show. For Disneyland get at least the 3 day hopper. We normally go for a whole week and make Wednesday our "free" day where we stay at the hotel and swim and relax.

1 day is not enough for universal and islands of adventure!! Trust me. As a true floridian Islands is my favorite park. Also you will need one day per park for disney for it to be really enjoyable.
