My FS popped the question with a sapphire. But now i wear a diamonique (CZ) ring from QVC as my ring. We will get a diamond down the road of life, when we feel we are ready to spend the money on one.

I don't have a different color stone in mine, just an ordinary diamond but the style of it is very unique, well in my opinion it is.

Thanks, as individuals they don't look big but the fact that there are two bands on there makes it look huge. I'm not usually a fan of big rings either but this one I love. Here's a better picture of how they look separated.

T & J...I think we have a very similar sapphire ring HAHA....i LOVE IT. I knew my fiance couldn't afford to drop a schload on a ring because I'm in graduate school and he's basically supporting both of us...and I really wanted to be engaged to him. We both have issues with diamonds, and I really didn't want one. My FS and I feel that they are only so expensive because DeBeers has a monopoly on them and even if they weren't, we have ethical issues with how the diamonds are obtained. I hope I didn't offend anyone who likes/has a diamond...just explaining our reasoning. I have gotten so many comments on the ring, even from people I don't know...FS did such a great job...I've even had people say, "That ring matches you personally."

Mine is a vintage ring from the 1940's. I love it, I didn't want a traditional diamond solitaire ring, FS found this one in a vintage jewelry shop.

I love it. We are going to have a custom band made to go with it.

Very nice rings ladies....mine is the traditional solitaire, so i didn't share, but enjoyed looking at yours!

Mine is an oval diamond with an east-west orientation which makes it more unusual. I wanted minimal sleek look, yet with intricate details. It has a bit of a Halo on each side of center stone and a dainty micro pave detailed band framed in gold milligrain. Profile is cathedral setting with diamond and miligrain accents as well. So far haven't seen anyone else with a ring like this.
