@Almost a Mrs. LOL about Costa Rica. I would have freaked out if I thought they were suspicious of my name/papers.

Regarding Aislinn -- the actual Irish pronunciation is Ash-ling, which is sometimes shortened to Ash-leen. The Aye-s-lynn pronunciation is a U.S. creation, from what I've been told.

@KitandKaboodle I LOVE Analiese, but if they're still open to your suggestions, I'd probably change it to Annaliese or Anneliese to avoid the first four letters in Analiese.

We just named our daughter Nola Christine, chose it because its unique but not totally off the wall. It's not everyone's taste though. It sounded like a softer version of Nora to us.

I've always loved the name Lyla or Lila. Similarly I like Layla too.

Please don't name her Vagina- pronounced Vag-e-Nay.

I always liked Jasmine/Jasmyne. And Sarah. I named my last bike Sophia and my current bike Jezebel.

Sophia I love that name- although FH's cousin's daughter is named that- and she's a twit- so I'm king of off it.

Jezebel b/c the bike was a bitch- not because I liked the name.

I like Jo- and Sam- and Alex as well- I love names that have androgen to them.

Ugh I have a whole list on my phone of baby girl names that I love! IF we were to end up having kids, and that's a big if, we love the names Adley Gracen and Loften Sienna. I love unique names because I loved never having to be called by my last initial growing up.

I don't know. My name is Amity and I sort of like when people ask me the root of my name. It's a great conversation starter!

I have a super common name that has a million spellings so I want to give my kids something a little unique but not over the top.

I love Charlotte (mostly because I love the nickname Charlie), Harlow, Layken, Brynna, and Dylan

I like the name Sophia Nicole. Not sure how common of a name Sophia is in some places but I have never met or heard of a Sophia anywhere I have lived. My middle name is Nicole. I love it and would like it to be a first name but just can't find a middle name to pair it with, so it may stay a middle name

I love older sounding names like Audrey , Lillian and Charlotte. My Top boy name is Everett.

I also think my children will have a theme lol.

I use to love Estella meaning star and I swore that I would name all my children after things in nature

My daughters name is Talia (Tal-ya)

If my next is a girl...I have always loved Lilia, Lil for short. Luckily it is also the name of my FMIL. So I think my FH will go for it.

My parents only had a boys name picked out for me, since my mom was convinced I was a boy. They ended up picking a name from a book they thought was pretty, but they never really heard it. In the end, I went to school with two girls with the same name.

I strongly advice against a really unique name, because it will lead to problems, like they have been mentioned here too. My name is pretty common, it's French and since I'm swiss it's spelled that way. Apparently in the US it's spelled differently, and I still keep getting annoyed by people misspelling it. My name is Corinne, but I keep seeing Corrine here. Tiny difference, but still a pet peeve.

We have a boys name picked out: Robert Joseph and we would call him RJ (Robert is my H's name and he was named after his uncle and Joseph was my grandfathers name). We are undecided on a girl. There are a lot of cute names in this thread for sure!
