Unhappy with wedding pictures

Help but think “are you kidding me, that’s the BEST one?!” My sister in law said they took some pictures of her, her husband and their daughter, but we didn’t receive any of them, so I can’t help but wonder what else they got that they didn’t give us. I know they gave us 600, but a lot of them are repeats, just cropped differently, 15 are of my dress – I made a hanger that was on my dress (Mrs. Last Name) and out of the 15 pictures they thought I needed not one of them has the hanger in it where you can read it! 5 are of my shoes, 5 of my invitations, 5 of my bouquet, etc. The quality of the pictures is excellent, I would just prefer that I received multiple group/couple shots and not so many of slightly different shots of the details. We also did a dollar dance, and they took multiple pictures of each of us with each person we danced with (we had two photographers – a husband and wife) We only received a few of those pictures, I would have LOVED to get at least one with each pers

I would write them, exactly what you wrote here, things that are missing, etc. And maybe they will give them to you.

I had to write me e-pic lady because I noticed some poses I wanted were missing from my disc and she told me she'd edit them and e-mail them to me. Sometimes you just have to ask!

Sounds like a phone call needs to be made... cause they just created an "Epic Fail". And if they don't correct it, I'd be sharing the info to spare some other brides and make sure you get some money back!

I am so sorry to hear this but as the ladies above stated, give them a call and see if they can't send you more of the ones you want. Good luck!

I would contact them as the other ladies have stated, our photog will be giving us every single photo he takes, edited and unedited, he photographed my daughter at birth and 1 year and gave us around 1000 pictures between the 2

Did you specify what you wanted? That might be the problem, they are just probably picking the best photographs you might ask is there one of me and the bridesmaids? if so i'd really like it even if you didn't edit it. Etc if they didnt' photograph these things, did you make them a list.

My photog has a very exact list of what I want and if they don't take those shots I'll be PISSED

You shouldn't have to tell a professional photographer that you want pix of you and the bridesmaids.....

I would definitly give them a call.

I agree with Celia. You shouldn't have to tell a photographer you want pictures with your bridesmaid or your mother. However, sometimes you have to give people clear and concise instructions. Obviously your photographer is one of those people.

I wasn't going to give a list, but I am now starting one.

I would tell them exactly how you feel. Every professional photographer should know the main shots to capture.

I would call them...they should be able to give you the pics, even unedited. My package includes so many edited pictures plus all the pictures taken that day on CD, which is one reason why I picked my photographer

Oh that is horrible! I am so sorry that happened to you. The pictures are sooo important!!! Did any family take non-pro pics of some of the stuff the "pros" missed at least?

My pictures are horrible...my profile pic was taken by a guest and that is the only one of me and my husband that is posed and we are smiling instead of caught off guard like all of the picks by the photographer. there are none of me alone except getting out of the car with my sunshades on. the quality is horrible and they area all candid shots so in the group pictures no one is looking at the photograher at the same time... he gave me 4300 pictures on a disk to sort thru and he will edit and print 200 for me...he said if I wanted one of me and my hubby he will crop folks out of the picture WTH!!!! there are no pitures of my flowers, our rings and all of the ceremony is the back of our heades and 100 pictures of the pastor... he also did the videos as well and the cameras were set up and unattended thru out the entire service so it was never focused or panned out/in so what ever got in the way of the camera was on the video.

The photographer is also a sports photographer and it appeared that he had the wrong equipment he had to take pitures from across the room, when we were cutting the cake I couldnt find him...until I heard him from across the room telling my guest to get out of the way... (very unprofessional) and outside he was over 100 feet away from the group... so the pictures a grainy and splotchy!!!! he says he can edit them but im not convinced. the inside shots he was shooting into the light therefore all the pictures reflects the big white shadow....

90% of the shots are like this....there is no sharpness and the colors are all off
