Unattractive=quarantine

He did say that he didn’t mean to say “unattractive” because he says he doesn’t think I’m not beautiful or not sexy. He wants to have time for us and stuff and he grabs my hand and hugs and kisses me.


His parents are very intrusive and toxic and I do not want them in my life that deep into my relationship. It is none of their business in my opinion. They are over protective and it’s like they don’t think (the mom) that he can do stuff on his own. His dad on the other hand always tries to help him be a better man like asking to help bring in mulch. His dad recently told him that he’s only trying to help you be better for your future with Shaina

This is good to hear, and so sweet of his dad to say that.

I think your best option is to keep his mum at arm's length where possible. Although if his parents are still together, that's going to be difficult.

My ex shared a lot with his family too, which I didn't like. But then he had no friends due to his mum isolating him over the years.

View Quoted Comment Wow. Yeah he has friends but not a lot. His close friends live in Minnesota. And the other friends ended up becoming closer to me. That’s pretty much it besides his co workers. A lot of my friends ended up being friends with him so now it’s like he has more in a way. His mom shelters them a lot both boys especially. His brother doesn’t have many friends as well and once told me that he would be “happy” once he find a girlfriend. Idk what goes on in that house but I don’t think anyone should think that . Like purposely finding a woman to make him happy.

I can't understand this possessive behaviour. It's not healthy for either party.

Come to think of it, I can only think of one of my ex boyfriends mums who actually seemed to like me.
