Top 3 Splurges? 💰

Dress, photographer/videographer (package deal) , and honeymoon!

Top 3 splurges for me are Food/venue, Photographer. My venue is doing pretty much everything including my catering/bar and even my tiered wedding cake. I optioned to get top of the line food choices and extra passed appetizers for an up charge.

How it feels: Catering, catering, catering 😵

Realistically : catering/bar, rabbi have been our biggest expenses ( our venue was among the cheapest!!)

I would’ve added dress since it was outside my personal budget but my parent graciously gifted that to me)

Catering, dress, and videographer. We really wanted a great video for us to look back on and we wanted a great meal for our guest to enjoy.

At this point this entire wedding, haha. Everything is much more expensive than I expected but at the same time I think it'll be a beautiful and memorable day so I'm excited!

The most important things to splurge on in my opinion are: dress, photographer, and DJ. Pictures are how you'll remember your wedding, they're what you'll look back on. Your dress is the main thing you'll see in the pictures, and it's an expression of you. And a DJ can make or break your wedding, as they're responsible for the whole vibe on the dance floor, as well as mc duties.

As someone working with a tight budget it's hard to splurge. If I could be that choosy, I'd go with venue, catering, and photographer.
