Food was the most important and is our highest expense of the whole wedding, coming in at about 1/3 of our total budget. The next most important was photography, which also had a higher pricetag and cost about 1/4 of our total budget. Weirdly, everything else cost us more or less $200 per vendor/catagory. The first "$200 vendor" I booked was our florist, which is pretty important to us, but the one I spent more time researching/figuring out was our centerpieces and decor.

Boring food 🙋♀️ We are more concerned with the drinks, dancing, and view. Getting married on the gulf coast of Florida the sunset will cover up the food savings lol

Awww, didn’t mean to rag on you, and having an amazing sunset view is worth it! We were choosing between our venue, which had a list of required caterers, all expensive (the building is a historical landmark so the site manager is very specific about who she works with. All other vendors were our choice), or a restaurant with so-so food but an amazing sunset view. There were some other issues, including the ceremony would have to be outside, in the middle of a public park, and we saw the house florist setting up for a wedding that night and the flowers were already wilted. (White peonies! All beginning to brown! And the site manager didn’t notice!) We were concerned about rain, so we went with our venue. I don’t think rain is something you’ll have to worry about though in FL! Congrats and good luck.
