To invest in a Cricut for the wedding

I got one for Christmas and have used it several times (just silly little things around the house). If you think you’ll use it after the wedding then I think it would be a wise investment.

Oh, There’s a learning curve and it can be time consuming.

I would not unless you intend to open an Etsy business to sell services to others full time. Save your money and order a custom project from an existing Etsy seller who specializes in Cricut.

If you plan to use it a significant amount of times after your wedding, I think it's a good investment. I've never heard anyone say their cricut was a bad investment, so it's just a matter of will you use it enough to get your money's worth (which honestly isn't hard to do).

If you really are going to use it afterwards than yes invest in one. I contemplated getting one but in the end decided against it. The time & supplies, couldn’t justify it. I’ve bought the majority of wedding supplies & gifts from Etsy.

I bought one and I LOVE it! But like others have said you should get one if you will use it afterwards. I purchased it to start a Etsy shop but now I have made certain goodies for the wedding and I will be using it for baby stuff as well.


As far as the learning process I made a ton of mistakes lol but there are plenty of YouTube videos that show you how to use the cricut

If you think you will use it after the wedding for other crafts, I would 100% recommend one. If you are just looking to use it for wedding DIY, I'm not so sure it will be worth it unless you find one at a discount. I've had one for around 5 years and love it!!
