I'm kinda a low-key, feminine gal.. I love girly things but not sappy. I don't do over-the-top girly, lace and pink stuff. But I have this overwhelming urge to wear a freakin tiara on my wedding day. Like, I want to have that thing on my head right now lol

I've been told numerous times that I resemble Audrey Hepburn and am leaning towards having my hair up high ala Breakfast at Tiffany's with a tiara.

Tacky? I don't know.

    If you want to wear a tiara - GO FOR IT. It's YOUR bridal attire, not anyone else's.

    Honestly, I think it depends on how big the tiara is. Is it a four inch high Queen of England tiara? Or a petite tiara that nestles just right in your updo? Biiiiig difference between the two.

    I say do you, but veer on the side of less is more with tiaras.

    I say go for it! I planned to wear one but my dress has ALLOT of beadwork so I think it will be overpowering. I'm thinking of doing some other headpiece (in addition to my veil).

    It's your wedding, so whatever is going to make you happy and feel beautiful go for it Smiley smile I love tiaras myself I even put one on my graduation cap!! Beautiful idea if you ask me.

    If you don't care what anyone thinks, then do you and wear the shit out of that tiara. BUT, since you're posting here asking, I suspect you do care what people would think. My honest opinion is I would think "you're not 5 and you're not Kate Middleton, take it off."

    My mom wore a tiara on her wedding day and I'm wearing hers on mine, there's nothing wrong with them. if they were only meant for princesses and kids they wouldn't sell them in bridal shops. it's your day you wear that tiara!!

    The only opinion that matters is your own. Do not let anyone discourage you from doing what you want to do. I am wearing one and I could care less about what anyone thinks. Go for it. It's YOUR day.

    I'm not a tiara fan, they are way too "pretty princess" for me.
