Any brides out there who wore black or any other non traditional color? I've never pictured myself wearing white or cream as I am goth, my family doesn't expect anything less, but FH family wants more traditional even though we're having an "until death" themed Halloween time wedding.

What about something like this? It's a happy medium if it's your style. The vision I have of my dress is some thing similar but with lime green for the top and the skirt be black. So very non traditional

I didn't read all the posts, but Allure has beautiful bridal gowns that are black and cream/ivory/champagne. Maybe that would be a good crossover for both you and your FI?

Glad this thread got bumped again. It's great to revisit all these gorgeous black dresses and gorgeous brides in them.
I love my dress but it makes me regret not standing up for something nontraditional.
And Elphaba, you are beautiful. Love your hair too.
