The bride wore black?

I'm going non traditional. I found this beauty at Cocomelody. I'm too clumsy to wear white anyway. Good luck!

Of course wear what you want but if you wanna do what you want and make your FH happy, maybe wear 2 dresses like @Candace did. Either way, non-traditional dresses are still gorgeous! Good luck on what ever you choose!

You could always "glam" the black up a bit with beading. Then it has some wedding and some you if that makes sense.

Remember that Brides did not wear white to their wedding until queen Victoria did. So go with any color you would like. Its your special day!

I wish I could find better pics of my sister's ensemble..she had a white dress with black ribbon and lace and it came with an AMAZING long sleeve black satin over coat that had white beading around the top - the coat was too small for her but it fit me so I wore it for my birthday (which is halloween) to make up my evil queen outfit. Lol

Oh found it!! And yes, she ordered a knock off of an expensive one, it was still gorgeous. Anyway, thought this could also be a compromise option. (Sorry for 3 diff. comments, I'm on mobile)

I'm very tempted by silver dresses, but I'll likely just end up in ivory with either a silver or blush veil.

Since when is black not glamorous on its own?

I wish I had my old phone!! Went to a co-workers wedding few years back and she wore a red dress and she looked beautiful.

I'm wearing a dress that will have a purple tint for the top but white for the bottom. I completely fell in love with it, I was open to whatever with color!

This is actually the dress but the top will be purple instead of pink!

The quality of that fabric is amazing because it looks like somebody melted literal gold and made it into a dress...

I'm so excited for this thread! So many lovely and beautiful dresses and ladies. I'm planning a black dress (my mom and a friend are going to make, they are both amazing seamstress') and this just made my night. Hope everyone finds the perfect dress that they love no matter the color!!

This whole thread makes me wish I had gone for my dress in red. Here in China, many people wear red gowns and they're so gorgeous. They had an entire section of them at the boutique where I bought my dress. You ladies look amazing, I love all the color!

I remember, its a Davinci 8220 dress. I remember seeing it when I looked at prom dresses at a dress shop 7 years ago and I wanted it for my wedding. Too bad I forgot about it when I was dress shopping. I dont even think they make it anymore. Its still super stunning!

I almost went with a gorgeous gold gown but I decided to try on one last one to be sure. So I ended up loving that last ivory gown. I love all these colored dresses!

Also @elphaba I want to look like you when I'm 42. You're beautiful.

And @jorocka if I could be half as stunning as you are on my wedding day, I'll be happy!
