the best books to read before getting married?

Rick and Bubba's Guide to the Almost Nearly Perfect Marriage is a really good book! It started out as just a joke from his parents as our x-mas gift last year because FH nickname is Bubba but it actually is a really good book! I couldn't put it down when I started reading it. lol

Try "The Five Love Languages" by Gary Chapman.. great insight!

I must agree with the five languages! an amazing book and its also an easy read. be sure to do the quiz with your fh.

We are doing a course along with our pastor called "the marriage course" It's a DVD and booklet. It's been AMAZING! I was annoyed we had to do it at first, but i am SO glad we did. We understand each other more and are much closer because of it.

5 love languages! Love and Respect! Watch Fireproof the movie. Get a book with tons of random questions and go through a few each night before bed time! So fun and worth it!

Oh my gosh!!! Fireproof was a amazing movie! I cried and I want to get the book for Stephen.

Sooo funny! I just bought "Boundaries in Love" and "The Love Dare" on Friday! He's reading the book first and We will start the "Dare" after we get back from Vacation this next weekend. I work in a book store and can tell you "Love Dare" is a very, very popular book!
