Thank you gifts for bride's parents and groom's parents?

Anna =), on September 15, 2015 at 10:41 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 3

My mother and step dad are paying for our venue, cake, and catering ($5000). My father and his girlfirend are giving us $2500, and my future in laws are paying for the rehearsal dinner, part of the suit rental, and part of the honeymoon ($1700).

What would be appropriate gifts to give them as thank yous? I am trying to determine the misc portions of our budget. We want to let them know how thankful we are for all of their help. I was thinking of buying my mom and step dad tickets to a Broncos vs Chiefs game (both are huge fans that have never been to game). They would only have to drive about 3 hours to attend the game. I have no idea what else to get everyone.

The football tickets sound like an awesome gift idea! A lot of people will also give photo albums to their parents once they get their wedding pictures back.

Bumping for advice from the married ladies!

I've also seen wedding albums done a lot. But if you know that the tickets will be well-received, I think they're a great idea!
