I honestly would just write out heartfelt thank you cards. Maybe include a picture of you and the guest from the event, if you have one.

Ditto Nicole. Don't worry about being creative, just make sure that you write a heartfelt thank you note for any gift received as soon as possible.

You don't really need to get creative with Thank You cards. Just thank them for their gift and for supporting you, coming to the wedding etc.

Agreed with the heartfelt note! I got a thank you from my cousin and her fiancée and it was a picture of them on the front right with writing space on the left. The picture was great, but I got no thanks for my $100 gift and shower present. That made me quite mad that she didn’t have the time to write a thank you. Later, I found out she thanked my younger brother in writing, just picked and chose who she thanked. Not cool!

Speed, sincerity, and specificity matter. Handwriting and snail mail. Creativity is not needed.

I think she's asking for more creative ways to word the thank you. Writing "thank you for the gift of money" over and over again can get so overdone

We wrote everyone a thank you card, even if it was cash. Most of the time it was, "thank you for your gift and sharing a day with us...." or something along that line.

"Thank you so much for your very generous gift. Sam and I are touched and delighted, since we are saving up for a Serious Whatever, and you have put us a long step farther toward our goal. It was lovely to see you at the wedding and blah blah blah...."

There is pretty much only one way to thank people for money so don't try for creativity. Just gratitude and specificity.
