Thank you cards

Christy, on May 23, 2022 at 8:15 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 3
Hello all - My fiance and I opted to not have a registry and in lieu of gifts we asked that if they really wanted to contribute, our guests could make a donation to one of three organizations that we included on our wedding details card. We don’t know who has contributed unless they let us know. For those that we know of, we will send thank you cards. But should we send thank you cards to all guests thanking them for participating in our big day?

Thats what I would do and maybe detail the total raised for each organization. That way each person is being thanked who contributed even if you dont know exactly who.

I think sending everyone who attends a card would be best if there's no way to tell who all contributed. Then everyone feels appreciated and nobody's toes get stepped on.

It’s courteous to do even if’s not required.
