Thank you cards before wedding?

Definitely send a thank you card as you receive things! People want to know their gift was received.

You should send thank you cards ASAP. Especially since your wedding is still two months away.

Open it and send a thank you now. I too asked the WW community a month or so ago because I was unsure. People want to know you received the gift and it arrived damage free!

I agree with sending ASAP. I also saw someone on here say anything received within 30 days of the wedding, they reserved to send a thank you until after the wedding. We’re basically following the same rule, but with anything received within 2 weeks of the wedding, we’re going to wait until after.

I sent out normal thank you cards right away and plan on sending the wedding photo ones after the wedding. But now I am wondering if I need to send both.

Send thank you cards as you revive gifts.

100% agree - go ahead and send the thank you's now. You'll get to use the gift, get some of your thank you writing out of the way early, and the sender will know you received and appreciate the gift.
