His name is Noah McHenry. He's 6'4" and a HUGE nerd! He does civil war reenactments and is studying to be a history teacher! We have been together for almost 4 years, since our senior year in high school. He is an eagle scout and works for a boy scout camp all summer long! We love going on adventures and taking care of our nieces and nephews!

I'm marrying an actor with an interest in writing and poetry. He likes kayaking, hiking, and building with legos. I met him in college when he transferred to my school. We became friends very quickly, but it took us over a year to get on the same page when it came to having feelings for each other. He proposed on our 3 year anniversary and when we get married this fall, we'll have known each other for 5 years.

My fiance's name is James, he is 27 and a physical education teacher at a preschool here in Indianapolis. We officially met in high school back in 2004 when we shared a class. We "re-met" in college in 2009 and started dating. He proposed to me at home with a family heirloom (his grandfather's gold chain) and then took me ring shopping. We are having a two year engagement as we are planning and paying for everything ourselves. I am beyond excited for the planning process as well as marrying my love!

Let see. His name is Eric Castine. He is 6'4" compared to my 5'3". He was going out with my ex step sister when we meet. Bad start of the story i know. My dad was married to her mom but we hated each other. We started talking on a daily bases then he came to my 18th birthday as my boyfriend and this amazingly shy handsome guy. Here we are a year later with me asking him to marry me and silly guy says yes. So we are getting married july 24th 2020. Partly because both of our birthdays land on the 24th so we wanted another 24th. We are both getting married for the first time. Although he has been engaged one other time.

    Hello everyone!
My fiance's name is Shawn and we have been together for 5 years. We got engaged less than 3 weeks ago and plan to get married in 2-3 years. He is a diesel mechanic by trade but truly has his heart and soul in the outdoors. He actually proposed while hiking. We both enjoy camping and recently spent 5 days in Kentucky (we're from PA) living out of our truck and completely relying on what we brought. During that time we hiked and saw many cool things, we went and hiked 4 miles worth of cave at Mammoth Cave National Park. We've truly grown together and and can't wait to start our next adventure.

I am marrying Brad Levin, a 28 year old project manager for a small construction company in Chicago. We matched on Tinder on Valentine's Day 2014. He sent me a message featuring a Valentine's Day pun that I accused him of using on every other girl he had messaged that day. His sense of humor, passion for his job, admiration for sports, dashing good looks and height (6'5") are all reasons I accepted a second date. Brad proposed to me on the beach with his grandmother's engagement ring while we were vacationing in Portland, Maine last month. I am ecstatic to be marrying Brad and look forward to getting the ball rolling on planning!

We met 20+ years ago while working during college at Price Club (Costco now). I was his boss. We were both in other relationships and we just always remained friends/ he was my right hand at work. He left got a job in his field of study and I got married and had a baby. Fast forward 20 years - divorced, single mom, & saw him on FB with a mutual friend #friendrequest....we chatted on FB messenger for about 3 months and then decided to meet for beer & tacos at a local taco place with a bar. Done...the rest is history. We started dating in October 2013, made it official in December, moved in with each other May 2015 and engaged Feb 2017. We are getting married September 22nd and I can't believe it took 20+ years! We go back to shop at the Costco where we started and people who knew us back in the day say to us ALL the Time that they always thought there was something going on between us....but there never was.

My fiancé is Deano he is nursery gardener and an old soul and nerd like me. That being said, ironically, we met online in the Spring of last year and hit it off really well. He brought me back to the East coast to meet his family for Christmas while there he took me to Universal, Harry Potter World, bought us matching robes, and asked me to marry him next to Honneydukes. We've since moved in together to try and save up even more and plan our very nerdy wedding. We are giving ourselves until 2020 but a lot can happen in that time outside of wedding planning so I'm starting now!

I'm marrying my best friend. Her name is Amelia and we are a same-sex couple. We are newly engaged, about 3 weeks ago. We have been together for 5 years, and they have been the most incredible 5 years of my life. We met online, and if I only knew that what I know now, that I would fall in love with a woman over 1,300 miles away from me. Amelia lived in Texas when we first began talking, and I lived in New Jersey. After a year of long distance dating and traveling, Amelia made the move half way across the country to be with me. Together, we have opened a business and have brought a fur baby into our home. We are getting married on June 26, 2020 in Mexico! We're having a destination wedding because we want to celebrate with the people that mean the most to us, for a whole week instead of just one night Smiley smile We will be getting married at Dreams Playa Mujeres, and I am so excited to start officially planning! One thing stands in my way, I just graduated from law school and am taking the bar next week, then it's all fair game! Can't wait to be a Mrs!

My fiance's name is Alex. We met in high school through a mutual friend. He has an amazing smile and a silly laugh. He is a hard worker, and when he puts his mind to it, he is able to accomplish anything. At 26 he decided to join the Air Force Reserves, where he works in electrical power production. Outside of the military, he is a machine operator from General Electric Aviation. He is obsessed with cars! Since we met in 2007, he has gone through over 10 cars (and no, I am not kidding lol). Alex proposed to me during his Air Force graduation parade in 2016, after almost nine years together! We will be married next September, and I cannot wait to finally call him my HUSBAND! Smiley heart

We met 4 years ago and dated for a year. He proposed in front of all my family and friends at my favorite place.. the lake!! It was so cute and of course I cried like a little baby! Lol. We are excited to get things moving with the wedding planning. Smiley smile i

I met Devon on tinder 2 1/2 years ago. Never thinking much of it but once we had our first date he was perfect and we were best friends right away. He’s a marine is deployed right now but gets home super soon! We’re young, I’m 21 and he’s 23 but military couples tend to get married younger but I’ve always wanted to get married young Smiley smile. We’re getting married in October 2019 and I cannot wait to take his last name ❤️❤️

Aww Smiley heart What a special story, thank you for sharing.

Are you both very similar in personality/interests or is it one of those "opposites attract" situations? Smiley heart

My sweet Aarron. We were highschool sweet hearts, started dating 2013 our senior year. We got engaged last December. He was my first kiss and our relationship moved crazy slow but very worth it. He ended up moving to Arizona in the last 2 years and he proposed at the airport when I went to visit him in December. He moved after his stepmother passed and him and his dad both had some mental breakdowns and drama so had to just get away from his step family here. And now their about to leave again to be with family in Illinois. Long distance is very hard but we made it work through some hard situations involving a lot of talking and forgiveness, resulting in us not being officially engaged anymore but I still have the ring and I intend to start wearing it again soon. He wants to propose again with a better ring but it doesn't matter. I'll marry him without a ring if it comes down to it. I thought about jut getting stuff together to elope at the courthouse when he is able to come see me again. I jsut want it be with him. He won't be home to me yet but he's gonna be much closer and we can maybe see eachother once a month if we plan we'll. I'm working hard to get a good future for us, and he's been doing the same. No matter what we won't let anything tear us apart. He's been my support through so much and I have been his. We can make it and remind eachother everyday what we are fighting for. We're not perfect but we make eachother better.
The plan is either a courthouse wedding and pizza after or a pretty wedding with a legend of Zelda meets Irish theme, because he is a video game addict, and I love Ireland so the purple and green seems like it'll be so perfect together. Also I am making him wear a kilt no matter what! He agreed and doesn't know I'm serious. We also still might do the pizza. It'll be a year or so more, we gotta get back in the same state and have a place to live together first. But we're working on it.

His name is Diego. He is a very caring, family man, and selfless person! We met when we were working at Culver's. He was training me and we just clicked. I didn't want to date him because I didn't want to date a coworker but after talking so much, we just hit it off. Now 4.5 years later, he proposed in Mexico on vacation for my aunt's wedding. I was so surprised I was speechless. I'm so excited! We are on the next step to move out together and then plan the wedding! The only thing I know for sure about our wedding is that I would like to incorporate Culver's into it because that is where we met, so thinking of an ice cream bar 😋 Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
