His name is Adrian and he's a total nerd that makes me laugh all day! We used to work for the same company and would pick on each other like kids in high school that had crushes lol. There were a few months of me grabbing chocolates from his coworker and him trying to talk to me but me being super shy and running away made it take awhile. We started talking because my supervisors son passed away so I would spend a ton of time in her office helping her get through the day and he would come in to try to cheer her up and distract her. It turned into the two of us picking on each other to make her laugh. One day she told me she thought he liked me. Of course I was like there's no way. No one could ever like me. I was broken and ugly(according to my ex). Then one day I was bored and swiping through tinder and bam there he was and it was a match. Next thing you know we went on a date!

To start off, my fiancé’s name is James. We’ve been together a little less than a year, and we’re both quite young. He’s 19, and I’m 18. I know that young couples have somewhat of a bad rep, but that’s something we have to deal with. Anyways, we met online, on tinder, and hit it off immediately. (Turns out we went to the same school and didn’t even know it). I didn’t really have any intentions on being with anyone at the time, but he completely changed my mind, like he has in a lot of ways, good ways. He’s my breath of fresh air when I need it, especially recently. We were both born and raised in South Georgia, but I just moved to Ohio, so it’s been quite stressful, for the both of us. He’s my absolute best friend, a total sweetheart, and everything I have ever wanted. He shares the same passions as I do. One of the things we really connected on was our love for furniture refurbishing and remodeling. He also loves, and i mean loves, my dogs just as much as I do, and I love his just as much as he does. Once we move in together, we’ll have 6 dogs. Crazy, right?

Our wedding is going to be somewhere in Ohio. We haven’t decided on a venue yet (he’s just as invested in our wedding as I am), but we do want an enchanted forest type of wedding. We’re both outdoorsy people and figured that was the perfect wedding that suited us as individuals. Our date is most likely going to be on Halloween of next year since thats our favorite holiday. If we decide not to have it on that day because it’s on a Thursday, it’ll be November 2nd. Of course we’re going to have a candy bar. It would be crazy not to have one, especially on Halloween/2 days after Halloween.

So hello my name is Shayla Van Winkle. I am married to Joel Van Winkle. Yes we are already married, but we have yet to have our wedding. We got married July 25, 2018. So a little under a month ago. Our wedding will be September 27, 2019. We are a mil-to-mil couple(both Air Force). We got married on leave in his home town in Indiana. (I'm from TN on the border of GA and AL). We plan on having our wedding near his hometown.

We met in the Air Force not long after Basic Training. We were living in the same dorms. Not long after we initially met he came over and asked why I always sat alone. I said I don't really have many friends and most of the time people my own age are super immature and it gets annoying pretty fast. He made fun of my "grandma" shoes and started talking to me and told me he was going to change that. We have talked every single day since except when we were in survival training and we couldn't for a week. Right from the beginning we both knew this felt different. To me even his imperfections are perfect and if nobody else sees that other than me that's fine that why I'm married to him. This man drives 5 hours to come to my base and 5 hours back to his base, every weekend because right now we aren't stationed together and he wants to be with me every chance we can. I am married to the absolute best and I have no doubt about that.

He's from Pittsburgh like me, and we only lived a few minutes away from each other growing up. He ended up working at the same store as me, and I instantly hated him. He was loud, childish and just annoying. I even told him to go play in traffic once. I was in a terrible relationship at the time with a verbally abusive guy. Jeremy and I slowly became friends, and he was leaving his "bad boy" days behind. As we became friends I realized I really liked him, and he was super attractive. One night my now ex and I got into a huge fight. I remember I texted Jer about it and he called me and calmed me down. That night I had a dream I was married to Jeremy. The next morning he smiled and said "You'll never know if you don't try". I ended up dumping my ex, realizing I was in love with my coworker! We've been together for 3 years and on October 14th 2017 he asked me to marry him.

He's a huge PC gamer (WOW and Runescape). He works two jobs and is a gym nut. Wouldn't trade him for anything. He is the most caring, crazy and witty person I have ever met. He puts up with my Disney and Harry Potter obsession. Couldn't ask for a better partner.

Our wedding will be here in Pittsburgh on May 23,2020. I wanted Halloween for our wedding but alas the Italian Families we come from both said no way! We are paying for our wedding by ourselves so the budget is tight. But no matter what we know we have our love to make our big day sparkle. I really can't wait to marry my best friend.

(Roll Tide🐘). He is a Veteran from the Marines and has a smile that makes any day better. We met three years ago as temps at a automotive plant. He claims he saw me first walking in the parking lot as he was going to park his car hoping that I would be in the same place.

When I first saw him walk in through the doors of the plant, he took my breath away. His face was strikingly beautiful to me. I know this may sound cliche but I had never seen a man as handsome as him. We went into our training room and I heard him speak and his Alabama twang was sexy (😉) !!! He was smart without a doubt, and I was mentally checking things off my list.

We were separated into work groups and he made a deliberate move next to me and that’s how it’s been ever since. He is my right hand. He is my sound reasoning and the funniest guy I’ve ever met.

He proposed February 28th of this year during a movie night. He had everything set up from all my fav snacks to hot chocolate and dinner. After laughing joking and watching a movie he pressed pause, stood up and made a speech that had us both in tears and I said yes!!!!
He is the one my soul clings to.

My fiance and I met 6yrs ago on a dating app. He was literally my knight and shining armor. We talked for many weeks before meeting then finally after work one day I decided to drive 3hrs to another state to pick him so that we can spend time together. We are not the "typical" couple I am 40 and he is 42 and neither one of us has been married before. We are so blessed to be able to have his son,my daughters and our grandson in our wedding. It took us this long to find each other and now we have the rest of our lives to spend together.
