Was it a surprise? Or, did you help him pick it out with hints, or did you flat out choose it?
Mine is, a 1/2 carat princess cut. (Naturally, because I'm a princess...his words lol)

I just got finished with farm chores , when I snapped these pictures today. I'm sure it could be cleaner, but it is what it is lol.
I'm old school, my fiancee and I both feel an engagement ring is a gift.
We had talked about marriage, but I was totally surprised on Valentine's day, when he got down on one knee and popped that magical question!
The only thing I would change , is its size. After having it sized, I've lost weight due to stress, so it spins. Even with a ring guard.
Im hoping my wedding ring, will help it stay in place.

I honestly , like the fact that he picked it all by himself, just for me. I've had friends that were unhappy with their ring, so it put a damper on the engagement. I love surprises and this one was the best one yet
