We talked about getting married a lot, but I didn't know he was planning on proposing. Then one day, I found his wallet on the floor. Joking around, I opened it and took out his credit card and said "Hahaha I'm stealing all your money!" He looked horrified and quickly took the wallet from me. I was wondering why he was acting weird and he finally told me that he had a few business cards from jewelry stores in there. He kept insisting he hadn't bought the ring yet, but at that point I knew he was at least looking 😊
Turns out, he HAD already purchased the ring. He knew I loved the infinity symbol and he wanted to incorporate that into the design. His brother told me his eyes got really big and he knew "this is it." He proposed a month later.

We were at his house and we were just talking about the future... where we would live when we got married and the jobs we would have in that city... and he was very quiet. I started getting a little frustrated because I felt like I was just talking to myself, and he walked over to his dresser and grabbed the ring box. He said "This isn't HOW I wanted to propose. And this isnt WHERE I wanted to propose, but I just feel like "this is it." Will you marry me?" I just thought it was the best way he could have done it. It was so special, just the two of us and that's why we chose "This is it" by Scotty McCreery as our song.

I have a 3ct cushion cut double band and I LOVE IT!!! Well the ring story is funny. We were talking on the phone and one thing lead to another and he told me to pick a ring. Now i sent several selections of what i like to him and he picked this ring BUT i told him i dont wanna know when he was going to purchase it nor when i would receive it so i could be surprised. I love the color blue so that's why he got me this ring.

My FH asked me what I wanted. I picked it out and when I finally did get it, I didn’t like it as much as I thought I would. It was so large and heavy and just not me, but still so pretty. Eventually some of the stones fell out and it would of cost more to fix it then the ring cost initially. My mom offered her engagement ring to my FH told him that it brought her over 25 years of happiness and now it’s time to be passed down. So now I have my moms! I absolutely love it! In the photo, I was trying to match bands that day.

I gave him hints and showed him pictures of what I liked. We had also talked about doing something different and we both like red so we discussed having a Ruby ring. It was still a surprise as he had it custom made (which I never expected) and it totally matched my favorite one I had showed him.
I relate to the size being iffy, mine fits but sometimes it spins, especially if my hands are wet.

My hubby told me straight up that he wanted me involved in picking out my ring. He said that it was something I'd be wearing all the time, and he wanted me to love it. He showed me an idea he had for what he would like to get me, and when we went to the jeweler, what we ended up with was almost exactly what he had in mind to begin with. I knew I wanted a diamond, though I'll admit I didn't think I wanted princess cut, and hubby wanted to add some color. Green, to be exact, because (I love his dorky reasoning) I went to Baylor University, and their colors are green and gold. With the yellow gold band, all we needed was the green. Probably the only thing I added to his idea was the bridge, but he probably would've found that on his own as well.

I had a secret Pinterest board of wedding stuff for two years before my fiancé proposed (yes, I’m that guy), including a board just with rings. I’d had the Willow ring from Brilliant Earth pinned on my secret board about 500 times, to the point I had to force myself to pin other rings, since I knew I shouldn’t get my hopes up that it would be that exact ring when the question finally popped. This was a locked board, so no one could see it, because though we’d been dating for almost 5 years, and knew we’d get married eventually, we hadn’t talked about specifics much. We definitely hadn’t talked about what I might want a ring to look like. So we’re at the Links at Spanish Bay in Pebble Beach, it’s sunset, and he gets down on one knee and busts out a ring box. I saw the box and exclaimed, “Shut Up!” I recognized the Brilliant Earth box immediately, and realized that if he I knew me at all there as only one ring it could be. It was in fact the Willow ring I had been dreaming of. After I said yes, and through sobbing tears, I asked him if he’d somehow hacked into my Pinterest account. He replied, “what’s a Pinterest?” He just knows me, and I love him for it, and I can’t wait to marry him at the end of the month!
