Tech Savy help needed- Moving pictures from Shutterfly to Dropbox or something else-UPDATED below

spring, on October 10, 2013 at 6:55 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 5

So my fiance niece took some pictures for us to use on our save the date card. However instead of emailing me them seperately she uploaded them to shutterfly. However the shutterfly save the dates are way more $$ than vistaprint. I would like to some how get the pictures from shutterfly and be able to use it for my save the date on vistaprint. However if you right click it and try to save to the computer it gets a white border. It would be better to get the actually pics its in JPG form. Can I move my pictures in the JPG form without the borders to my computer or drop box or upload it directly to vista print.

Before you save ask the niece for the pic please know that I have several times.. and she has not replied to my email. I have asked my fiance to call her and he did and she said that had some internet issues that they were changing the cable in their house. I asked him if he can just go there and upload the pics himself from her camera to his ipad. he said no she is funny

Not sure if there is a way shutterfly can save them in full resolution to a cd and have them ship it to you? Worth looking into. Or call her mom? Have a posse of hooligans go to her house? Bribe with cookies? Gluten free if she's legit allergic?

What OTW said, bribe her. It's the only way to have quality photos.

I finally got the pics from her. However in the end I didnt need them LOL.

I ended up going with Shutterfly because I GOT them for the about the same $$ as vistaprint GO ME!!

I called shutterfly and told them that I really loved their STD however it was alot more $$ than vistaprint. The lovely respresentative said wait a min and placed me on hold. Then she updated my cart to give me 25 free prints of the STD. In addition they had a coupon for free shipping and they also had a $15 off coupon for new customers so my save the dates from SHUTTERFLY ended up costing me $38 including tax and shipping for 55 prints. YEAH!! It never hurts to ask for a discount!!
