Swingers?

Not us... not at all. We just don't like the idea of swinging.

I'm not in the lifestyle but man, I would love to try it - too bad my FH wouldn't be okay with it. I think I just honestly want the lesbian experience I never got in college! I looked up the Hedonism resorts and they look like a lot of fun. That'd be a great place for a honeymoon, thats for sure.

I thought about it, but then I realized there are too many diseases out there that I don't wish to catch lol. It seems like a cool idea though, I just know we couldn't go through with it.

Not us.

But I know a few poeple who are. One couple continued swinging after marriage, but stopped when they had their first baby. The other couple stopped completely once they got engaged. Both are still happily married.

Not us but I have tried to convice FH it was worth a try. He's not into sharing so not going to happen and to be honest I am not sure I would completely like the idea of sharing him either.

@Peacock- LOL thats the reason we got into it! And the reason 99.9% of swingers get into the lifestyle- bc the chicks just want to experiment!

@Kerry-interesting good to know...i know several couples who took"maternity leave" from the lifestyle ...they always come back tho

How did you get into it, Claire? Do you go to parties or is it always the same people that you swing with? (if you don't mind me asking haha)

We are not but that's not to say that I'm not intrigued by the idea.

I went to the Hedonism in Jamaica. Our hotel flooded and since it was spring break that was the only nearby resort they could fit us. The food and drinks were great. We were literally the only people there under the age of 50.

Not into it, but one of my good friends is. It's not a part of her life she shares with very many people so I get to hear ALL about it!

Her and her ex got into it because he was having trouble being faithful. Funny thing is that they broke up (nothing to do with it) and she's the one who's still active in the lifestyle.

@Jessica- good to know! I had heard there are a lot of old swingers at those type of resorts ugghh...guess we'll just have to wait till we're old farts to go lol

My FH and I have done it, I have gotten to experiment and found out that I like girls just as much as guys, and he likes to watch and join, so not a big deal, but currently we are taking a break as there are a few things we need to work on between us, and then eventually we will be getting back into it.

You know, I must say how impressed I am that everybody has been very respectful of your lifetyle choices. Way to go, WW!!!

I've always really wanted to try it, but I'm afraid it would ruin my relationship with my FH. What if the sex is better with someone else? What if I feel a connection to someone else? Has anyone who's tried it every experienced those issues?

I agree Ana- and thank you ladies! I was worried posting this I'd get a lot of judgemental crap from narrow-minded people, but even the people who aren't in the lifestyle have been very respectful.

@Trina- thanks for sharing! finally a fellow swinger lol! I completely understand having to take a break from the lifestyle, we've taken breaks before, not bc of relationship issues but sometimes you just need a break from it, it can get overwhelming.

We are not quite into the swinging but we do have a girlfriend that we share. We have one currently and plan on continuing even after the marriage as well as look for new ones.

Haha this is totally different than the abstinence before marriage conversation there was on here a couple weeks ago...
