Sunday wedding...Hair salons that are open?

Call a salon that you like and see if they will open for just you. They may charge you a little extra for it, but they may not. Worst they can say is no. You can also look up WeddingWire's vendor list to see any available hair stylist or thumbtack.com

Hair cuttery is open on Sundays. My original hairstylist started out there and I moved to where ever she went. There are a few near your location. depending on the time of your wedding you can always go to the makeup counter in a mall and have them do your make up.... just an idea

I would try to find someone who will come to you. My two biggest requirement for this service is that 1. They would come to me. 2. They would do BOTH hair and makeup. Done and Done!

Try to find a freelance artist who will do it instead of a salon! That way they come to you!

We had a Sunday wedding, and ran into this as well. I ended up going with a stylist who would come to us at the hotel to get us ready. Same with MUA.

But, I had talked to a couple of different salons, and they were both willing to open on Sunday for us, without any additional charge.

Finding someone who comes to me sounds like a great plan. I will look into it.

I'm going to my usual salon, which is not open on Sundays. I asked about it at my first appointment after my engagement, and my stylist said that they'll open for me that day, and just to let her know how many stylists we'd need (like, if my mom or bridesmaids want to get their hair done with me).

Since you don't have a particular salon you are definitely interested in, I'd actually start looking for make-up artists and stylists who can come to your hotel or venue to do your hair and make-up. A LOT of make-up artists will travel. If you can't find a hair stylist who will travel, then find a good local salon, check reviews, and call some of them up and explain your situation.

I traveled for a wedding as a guest and went to a blow out bar. They are really big around here and I had a great experience. It was a Sunday wedding on Memorial Day Weekend but there was actually a bridal party in there. Potentially look to see if there is a blow out bar there?

I live in largo clearwater area....definitely salon west!! There are 3 locations it's such a nice place and they are open Sundays where are you getting married? I'm getting married on Sunday too in tampa but I have a whole group and two people are coming to us!

I have a friend that lives in St. Pete actually (I lived there for 5 years before moving back to NY) and she is a hair stylist. She went to the Aveda Institute there in downtown St. Pete. I could see if she works on Sundays and what she charges if you want. Or I can see if she has any recommendations for you!

FutureMrsMorle - Thanks! I will definitely check into Salon West as well! I am getting married in Madeira Beach near Johns Pass. I looked into the Largo locations and it only looks to be about 15 minute drive from where I'm staying.

CSquid - Does she do makeup as well? Yes, if you could see what she charges that would be great. I'm not looking for a complicated updo, just curls and maybe half up or pinned to the side.

Where did you end up getting your hair done for your Madeira Beach Wedding on a Sunday? We are looking for makeup too

I would contact the salon. The salon i hired is also closed on a sunday. They charged me a 10% fee for it being a sunday wedding but i was willing to pay that.
