Sunburn before wedding...Help!

Whitney, on April 27, 2017 at 6:31 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 26

I got sunburned today after being out for only 20 minutes in overcast weather. My wedding is next week. Does anybody have any tricks to help it go away fast, or how to get rid of the stupid tan it will leave? Excuse the weird face.

ALoe Vera gel from the drug store will take the sting out at least.

Lots of aloe and drink extra water, hopefully that will make it less likely to peel

Witch Hazel diluted in a spray bottle spritzed over it a couple times a day should help a little.

I buy nozema (the old school White kind) and put that on in the shower. It's always helped to get past the sunburn for me.

Lots and lots of lotion, with aloe Vera in it. Keeping your skin hydrated will help your skin heal without peeling.

Aloe vera. Get the blue stuff with lidocaine if its painful. In three days or so i would put non-scented lotion on to rehydrate your skin. Be prepared for tanlines that the MUA will need to address.

I saw on Pinterest you can put tea on and it will help. Like brew tea and let it cool. Let us know how you make out!!

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR. It will take away the sting and redness. Coconut oil to moisturize and minimize peeling.

Drink as much green tea as you can over next few days.

I know this may sound odd, but black tea helps heal the burn and bring down the redness if the aloe doesn't work. My fiance got killer burn a few years back and after one go of black tea all the red was gone

I'm super pale so I've experienced many sunburns... that being said Aloe all the way lots of water and honestly don't take super hot showers (this one just prolongs the pain of the initial burn). Most of all MOISTURIZE!

I had a terrible sunburn this past summer and noxzema applied to my burn really helped! I applied it and let it dry for awhile, then washed it off in the shower later!

Thick layers of Aloe. Make concentrated black tea, cool it down. Put it on the skin in thin layers let it dry all the way and leave it for a while. Then shower.

I know it sounds crazy but trust this porcelain skinned Floridian. It works
