Sunburn before wedding...Help!

Whitney, on April 27, 2017 at 6:31 PM

Posted in Wedding Attire 26

I got sunburned today after being out for only 20 minutes in overcast weather. My wedding is next week. Does anybody have any tricks to help it go away fast, or how to get rid of the stupid tan it will leave? Excuse the weird face.

Aloe Vera, lotion, lots of water, and pop some ibuprofen to help with inflammation.

Coconut oil! It is SO slippery but it works better than anything else I've used. Trust me: I'm Irish.

Try Aloe directly from the Aloe plant, just open a leaf and place it on your sunburn it works quickly and helps with the pain.

You should be alright. Use aloe daily. There are some after-sun lotions too. Constantly moisturize and stay out of the sun!!

As a very pale person in Texas, I'm going to have to write some of these things down!

Try not to worry too much, I'm sure your MUA can help even it out or cover it up. Also, be careful trying out too many chemicals and solutions at one time as it may irritate your skin further.
