Stomach bug going around the family days before my wedding!

I get married on Saturday, and FFIL has been throwing up since yesterday. He and FMIL ate the same thing yesterday, so it's not food poisoning. We've all been hanging out since Tuesday (DW) I'm freaking out that it's going to spread! What would happen if FH or I or part of our family is down with a stomach bug on the wedding day? Do you have to cancel or postpone? I don't need anything else to worry about right now!

    Oh no - I'm sorry! That sounds like norovirus. Wash your hands a lot and keep up on your fluids, because one of the main concerns is dehydration if you become ill. Fingers crossed for you!

    I'm obsessively washing my hands and praying at this point! This is one of my biggest wedding nightmares.

    Oh no! Drink a TON of water and take some emergen-C. I know it is difficult but if you can stay away from your FFIL that would be for the best.

    With two days away you are a little too late to cancel over family members as I am sure you have people traveling to come to the wedding.

    Drink some grape juice. I've read grape juice can help prevent the stomach bug (not sure how true this is though). Carry around a can of Lysol. So sorry. Good thing is it should probably be out of his system by Saturday though.

    I would put all sick-folk in isolation so it doesn't spread. I mean, if I was sick I would self-impose isolation. At this point I'm sure your FMIL is already exposed if he has a virus. They should understand if you all steer clear of them while he is recovering. Meds, hydration, pray!

    Thanks, everyone. I'm pretty freaked out, tbh. I'm just so scared FH or I are going to get sick right before the wedding and ruin everything. =/
