Good morning, everyone! If you have a step mom or dad, are you inviting them? What if you feel like you have 0 relationship with your step parent- but they just so happened to be married to your dad or mom... would this change your feelings of having them there?

I feel like it depends on the relationship. I’m very close with my stepmom but her and my dad are getting a divorce and I’ve been told it will be finalized by my wedding. So even though she will be my ex-stepmom at that point she’s still coming because she’s been a solid part of my life. I wasn’t even thinking about not inviting her until I was actually asked that.

It really depends on the relationship and what you’re comfortable with.
