The ceremony space will open up at 4:45pm for everyone. Cocktail hour from 5:30-6:30 and a nice served dinner after. We have a veranda behind us that faces a mountain (across a canyon) and the sun should be hitting it perfectly at 5.

We only have the ceremony venue for 2 hours (it’s just how they rent it out) so we are starting at 3:30.

I wanted sunset but that was impossible to have at 8pm in Georgia I didnt want to feed my Wedding guest at 9pm. That isn't good in my opinion. So we are going to be Married at 3pm then go to our reception 5pm have Dinner and Dancing cutting of the cake.
We were doing 530pm, but just changed it to 330pm because of the dinner hour ... And because we have to be up at the buttcrack of dawn the next day to catch our flight to Jamaica.
Our church does the ceremonies at 1:30pm and then our reception is starting at 5pm (different location). Figured it at least gives enough time for travel and photos with the family
We were doing 530, but just changed it to 330 for several reasons. Money is one. Food prices are ridiculous. Getting up at the buttcrack of dawn the next day to catch our flight is the biggest one.
Ours is at 4pm. Didn't want to have to get up super early to get ready, but also didn't want those helping with tear down to have to stay too late. My wedding is a formal church wedding and they will need the space by the next morning for Sunday church services!
You can start your wedding at any time that makes sense for you guys. I’m planning on having ours start at either 10:30 or 11:30. That way our (then 4 year old) will be able to be part of all the festivities. We’re thinking about doing a bar after party after the reception if anyone wants to keep the party going.
Our ceremony will start at 5pm. It's outside right on the water. Our reception is 40inutes away from our ceremony, but located in our home town, which will start serving food at 7pm. Bridal party due to arrive between 7:30&8pm. My brother is my photographer which is both convenient and a curse. He's also one of our pastors marrying us lol. We'll do first look photos and family photos before the ceremony. To help with the layover time in between.
We are getting married August 29 in Texas (outdoor ceremony) so it's going to be HOT! So we are doing our ceremony at 5. Ceremony and reception are the same location though, so it will be 5-10pm.

Ours is going to be 3:00 so the reception can start around 5, 5:30. That gives you enough time to have a nice reception without it feeling too rushed. Congratulations!
