We are starting ours at 3pm. We are not doing a first look, so the timing works well for the ceremony, cocktail hour (photos), intros, and then dinner. Plus we will then be able to take more photos during the sunset
Our ceremony is 2:00-3:00, photos at church until 3:30. Cocktail hour starts at 5:30. It’s about a half hour drive from the church to the reception. We’re taking photos in between which I think gives enough time for guests to check in to the hotel.

Brunch weddings can save quite a bit. But be prepared to have your hair and make up done early to accommodate pre picture. Have fun
I didn't realize most weddings are in the afternoon/evening. I chose 11 because I want it over with. No way I want to sit around all day with all that anxiety. My hair and makeup lady is coming at 7:30, so that should be fun 😬

My fiancé get up at 3 am everyday. There’s no way I could have an evening wedding and him not want to fall asleep. How many people is your hair and make up woman doing? I still need to hire one.

She is only doing me. I'm not having bridesmaids.
I agree, no way I could do late. My FH gets up at 4:30, and I typically get up with him or by 6. I pretend that I want to do it early so we can party that night, but I'm lying to myself. I wanna go to bed! 😂
