Special Thanks to Your Vendors!!

My vendors aren't on weddingwire but i am really thankful for my dj photobooth person - they were so nice! in my culture we do something called welcome photos/entrance photos - it's basically where we take a photo with each guest that comes and at the end of the night they actually get the photo print out in a nice folder that says thank you for coming. anyway, he decided to do it for me without extra charge! they just used the same photobooth backdrop and printer as the photobooth so it was easy but it was DEFINITELY a lot of work for them.

also special shoutout to my venue because they comped all the alcohol and vegetarian menus [so the way this venue does vegetarian meals is they allow people to order a separate entree and they tack that amount on my bill later] but the manager decided just to let the vegetarian meals be free. there weren't many but there were at least 4! for the alcohol we already had some but people are allowed to order or bring their own if they want. so some people ordered it from the restaurant and they ended up comping those too.

I was super thankful for our photographer and our venue! Our photographer, Meghan St. Pierre (Greensboro, NC), was so sweet. She went above and beyond for the day we signed our contract. She even sent us a little "wedding planning package" as a gift. I ask a lot of questions, but she always answered them and never seemed annoyed by me lol.

I was also so thankful for our venue, Elkin Creek Vineyard (Elkin, NC). They also went above and beyond to make sure our day was absolutely perfect! I guess you could call me a somewhat high maintenance bride, but they literally did everything I asked for. It was such a magical place and is so special to us.

Oh wow. I've never heard of people taking photos on the way in. That's pretty cool that they end up with a print of it at the end of the night. Super sweet that they did it for no extra charge! As for your venue, that's amazing that they allowed the vegetarian meals to be free. It's not often you run into vendors who do things like that so it's a really special sentiment when it happens.

I am the same way. I feel like I'm so annoying to my venue coordinator cause I email her numerous times with like 1 or 2 questions. I can never think of a lot at the same time to minimize my inquiry emails lol. I apologize to her all the time and she keeps telling me it's fine but I still apologize anyway lol.

We are only hiring one vendor. So far she's been nice but we have 5 months until she provides service for us.

Girl, same!!!! Lol. I asked my planner if every bride was this needy and annoying. She told me I was neither and its a typical bride thing lol.

I am super thankful for all my vendors! Our photographer and videographers were so amazing and made our day feel so special! I was nervous about rain a week before my wedding day, and they made me feel like everything will still be okay and will still make my day feel amazing! I'm also super thankful for our venue and wedding cake vendor, they were exceptional and totally exceeded my expectations. BUT I think I am most thankful for our duet musicians that I hired last minute a week before our wedding!!! We had problems with our original musicians, so last minute I looked for new ones, and I was able to find some! The new musicians were amazing and I'm so thankful for them!

LOL! Like I promise I'm not trying to be annoying. I just want to make sure we're on the same page and I understand everything that's happening lol. My venue coordinator was actually shocked. I had asked her a few questions about something and she was like look at you! You're on top of it. I had her taking notes to get answers from other people and businesses they're affiliated with lol. I'm still waiting.

Mainly our photographer (1 of them). He has done both our engagement photos and our minimony (It's actually my stepmoms nephew). He will also be at our big wedding because the photographer that we hired is his mentor so I believe that he will be taking pictures and his "mentor" will be doing our videography and keeping up with the photo booth!

Also, for our minimony my husband didn't know how to tie his tie and our photographer did it for him lmao

Oh man! That's wonderful that you were able to book new musicians so last minute and I'm happy for you that it turned out great! If I knew we would be dealing with rain and having to look for new entertainment, I definitely would have had a heart attack.

Awe that's sweet! Keeping it in the family. That's pretty funny though that he tied your husband's tie. It's ok. My FH doesn't know how to tie one either. Maybe I should make him practice lol.

I am beyond thankful for my photographers, Holding & Co Photography, here in So Cal. They were THE BEST vendor decision we made for our wedding. They were there through every change and delivered absolutely insane pictures (sneak peeks only so far, but they’ve already exceeded expectations). I found them here on WW and could not find anyone else who had the same level of artistry in our area. I will forever be grateful for them.
