In the light of Thanksgiving, I just wanted to shout out to one of my vendors, photographer Nikola, from LV Photography here in Las Vegas! He's been extremely patient and absolutely wonderful. Our initial meeting went ridiculously well and had hired him for our wedding date at the time.

Things had changed and we told him our current date and he was no longer available. THIS MAN contacted us back and told us that he gave the other wedding he was supposed to tend, to another team so he could personally tend ours! We couldn't believe it.

He's truly taken care of us and relieved us of some financial stressors by letting us pay when we can (up to a few months after the wedding, if needed). He offered us a free engagement shoot which was totally unexpected but greatly appreciated and we had so much fun.

He's even helped me with with my wedding day timeline when I was seriously struggling. He didn't have to any of that but we're so thankful for him. His work is AMAZING and I'm sad to see that he only has 5 reviews here on this platform. Share your thanks with your vendors! Leave those heartwarming reviews!

What vendors are you thankful for??

Our venue was amazing. SO many places were ... uncomfortable.... with a sword fight (seriously, one place in Jersey City was pearl-clutching). Sunset Terrace's coordinator's response? "Guys, they said they were trained professionals and licensed."

Jen didn't even require insurance from us. (And I don't think she warned her wait and bar staff, so we've got pictures and video of them in the background *freaking out*. It's great!)

Also, I hope she still works there, because she was super patient, very protective of her couples (she is very straight forward and asks if you have any problem people, because she'll take care of them!), considers it a failure on HER part if you don't eat, and can take a nebulous decor idea and make it shine.

Bonus to the caterers - during our tasting, the waiter overheard "allergic" and "cilantro" and immediately told the kitchen. Stuff came out without it, after that. ...It's not me, it's my stepmom, but I super appreciated that, because her allergy is SEVERE. Like, ON THE DIME turn around, very impressed.

Omg that's great! Having their reaction for a lifetime. I wonder what was going through their heads lol. Good on the waiter too. That's so cool. I'm glad everything worked out for you!
