I got mine from target, they don't go all the way down to the thigh though but i'm sure they sell them. Or i imagine a lingerie store or department womens section will have some. I just purchased a strapless push up bra in addition to the spanx. You won't know the "best" until you try them on, in my opinion. For my wedding gown im heaving cups sewn in to my dress to avoid wearing one, but thats largely because i have a see through back

My target had some thigh length shapewear last week and it was very reasonable prices.

I just ordered Capri spanx (spanx brand) and they arrive in a couple of days. My dress is form fitting. When I bought the dress, I wore thigh length spanx but the line showed a bit. I bought those from Walmart and they also kind of rolled up a bit so I want to avoid all of that and get spanx brand and capris.
