I have to agree with Linnea. I don't play it, but I have plenty of hobbies others would think are dumb(Cosplay), and considering a few of the brides ribbing her about it do also do Cosplay, Ren Faire, and other nerdy pastimes which many people who don't understand it make fun of, I would think they'd be more sympathetic. Her FH is being immature, and not handling money or priorities like an adult, that doesn't mean we should be immature and cause her grief too.

Mb....we are soulmates! Serious simmer!!! Sigh. I've take off work for an expansion launch. Lol

Pan - I'm sympathetic if the true issue is her FH spending their wedding money. But like Dminted Bride pointed out, it sounds more like she's pissed cuz she loses in the game & her FH is a better player & now cuz of that she wants to cancel the wedding... What's to be sympathetic about that? Her immaturity to get pissed about a game?

Even if it was a joke, joking about canceling the wedding over a game, is not funny... So no sympathy there....

Thank goodness for me, FH has an xbox, so I have like 90% control over the comp lol... I swear I'm not a gamer considering I only play every once in a while. But then I just posted on here about how excited I am for the new expansion coming, & I have almost every once of the sims 3 packs/stuff games. If FH were reading this, He'd call me a gamer.

Lol..,of course I know about it! Though....the launch date is close to my wedding...so we shall see! That's it...I'm gonna message you about it shortly....

I gave the FH a choice of what he wanted to blow a little wedding money on, and he came back with a Chewbacca/Leia cake topper. I'm not completely mortified, because at least Leia's in a wedding dress.

Props to y'all ladies playing MTG, WoW & Sims. I've not a gaming bone my my body, as opposed to FH who plays it all and (due to lack of space) no longer has his desk top to play Star Wars the Old Republic.

I only have a few costumes, cuz my hobby money is stretched thin. I've cosplayed as Sailor Mars, Misa Amane from Death Note, and Miwako from Paradise Kiss. I haven't gone to a Con in a couple years though so haven't cosplayed in a while.
