Song Suggestion Needed to Dance with Step Dad...

Hi! Need suggestions on songs to dance to with my step father. I plan to dance with him after all the speeches/dances and dinner is done. Before opening for the dance floor for the evening I thought it would be a perfect time to dance with my step father. This way my father isn't being overshadowed. I just need to find the perfect song. My step dad has only been apart of my life for about 5 years, he treats me like one of his own. He does not have daughters, he is a big impact on the wedding, very involved. I wanted to give him a special moment too.....

    I've actually been thinking about this myself. Except my step dad's daughter has many issues and they don't speak anymore. I just don't know if it's a good idea or what song I would choose.

    I googled a ton of songs, but none of them were quite right--too much country, overly slow, or not actually appropriate between a father and daughter. Finally, we decided on "Bridge over troubled water" by Simon and Garfunkle. A song ultimately about being there for each other no matter where life takes the other. Gets me teary eyed every time, I'll probably be a mess when we actually dance!

    If you have a close relationship, I would definitely recommend that one. "Turn around" by Harry Belafonte is also wonderful, though if your stepdad has only been in your life 5 years it may not work as well.
