Song Like Hear You Me?

At first my fiance and I were going to have Thousand Years by Christina Perri for our first dance song...then we heard Hear You Me by Jimmy Eat World. It's a beautiful song and we dropped our choice and said, 'lets do this song instead, this is different and no one does it!'

Well Mark (my fiance) had the smart idea to have me look up the lyrics and meaning....

It's about two friends that die in a car crash and the angels leading them to heaven!

Now we can't do the song since we can't listen to it without thinking of the actual meaning.

Question is, what song is like the song Hear You Me by Jimmy Eat World? We like that group along with Andrew Mcmahon, Goo Goo Dolls etc. But we can't find anything now

Help!!! PLEASE

I would recommend creating a Pandora radio station with that Hear you me song and see what else Pandora recommends.

I'm not sure about another Jimmy Eat World song. But there's plenty in that genre, you just haveto search through.
For some other less common wedding songs you could do, there's Collide by Howie Day, Better Together by Jack Johnson, Iris by Goo Goo Dolls, Lucky by Jason Mraz & Colbie Caillat. That's all I can think of right now.

Yellow by Coldplay is good but has a similar problem where there are *rumors* that the song is about someone with anorexia but even after reading the lyrics I don't see it.
