Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.

I don't think I'm doing the old new or borrowed ones but when my dad passed I made sure to take some blue clothing and when I find the dress I plan to pick the shirt I think he liked best and have a piece sewn onto my dress.

My new is dress, & shoes which are also my blue. Old is just gonna be an old ring I always wear on my rt hand, and possibly a necklace I got as a bm if it goes w/ my dress.

Still trying to figure out the borrowed!

Old: Grandma's earrings

New: dress, etc

Borrowed: ??? We're using my parents' rings, but not planning to return them...so technically not borrowing.

Blue: bouquet ribbon

Old: My engagement ring. It was my grandmothers.

New: Dress

Borrowed: Up in the air on this one.

Blue: My garter. It's Dr. Who!

Old: My mom's veil

New: My earrings

Borrowed: My mom's double strand pearl bracelet

Blue: My shoes

New - Dress

Old - Mom's veil

Borrowed - Nothing yet (thinking of borrowing necklace or earrings)

Something Borrowed: My Grandmother diamond necklace

Something New: My dress

Something Blue & Something Old: I am sewing a piece of a blue floral dress (in the shape of a heart) that my Nana made me when I was little onto the back of my dress for everyone to see that I have a part of her is with me on that day <3

All I know is my shoes will be blue and my dress will be new! I might borrow a veil from my SIL depending on style and all, for old I am hoping FMIL might have something form her mother that I can borrow for my something old, or I can use something of my grandmom's.

Old- butterfly that I received from a neighbor after his wife died

New- dress

Borrowed- a bracelet from my mom

Blue- My pregnancy & infant loss bracelet

Old- my Great Grandma's wedding band

New - dress

Borrowed- my grandmas earrings

Blue- Shoes

Old- Unsure

Borrowed- my mom is lending me her earrings

Blue- Unsure, but likely the garter

Mine were:

- Old and borrowed: Two handkerchiefs, one that belongs to my dad and one that belongs to my mom. Figured one could be the old and the other the borrowed, lol.

- Blue: Royal blue ribbon around my bouquet, and blue rosettes on my shoes.

- New: My necklace, my mom had it made for me for my wedding.

Don't mind my hands, I've had ugly wrinkly hands ever since I was a kid

Old: my mother's engagement ring (she's a widow and doesn't wear it anymore, so she gave it to me)

Borrowed: the veil, from a close girlfriend (I probably would have skipped the veil if I had to purchase one)

Blue: my shoes were navy peeptoe pumps

New: everything but the ring and veil, basically

Something Old: DH's late grandmother's broach on my bouquet, my late grandmother's picture o my bouquet and my late grandmother's wedding ring on my right hand

Something New: My dress

Something Borrowed: My earrings loaned to me by MOH

Something Blue: I had a blue triceratops sewn into my dress.
