In my opinion, don't make it too non-traditional! I've been to quite a few weddings lately that have been playing things like Butterfly Kisses and other songs no one recognized. It looked tacky when the bride's mother stood up and turned around because no one else knew that the bride was coming. I don't know, maybe I just like the feeling I always got at a wedding my whole life when you hear the wedding march and everyone automatically stands and turns. It's exciting! Why don't you try a variation of the wedding march? Like the "Romantic Wedding March"? Of course, it IS your day...just pointing something out to take into consideration.

My officiant is asking everyone to stand before I walk down the aisle so that's an option too!

My wedding is on the beach with about 20 guests, very intimate, and casual (except for me at least) therefore I want something fitting. A formal wedding march, or normal canon in D, etc is too dramatic for our ceremony. I want something light and soft, acoustic. People will know I'm coming because they'll have nothing else to look at lol
