Snacks/light food on the morning of wedding day

Future Mrs. Williams, on September 18, 2012 at 11:14 AM Posted in Planning 0 10

What did you have or would suggest? I 'm not even sure I'll be able to eat anything, but I'm trying to be prepared.

Have a good breakfast with plenty of veggies and other things that aren't going to be harsh on your system *ahem* but will keep you full and give you fuel for the day. Eat something small every few hours like an apple or banana or half a peanut butter sandwich.

Lots of water. You'll be great :-)

My mom got a wrap try with all different types of wrap sandwiches. they were light enough not to make you feel to full but heavy enough to fill you

I had oatmeal early in the morning, then my MOH brought muffins, tea (for me) and coffee for everyone else to where we were getting ready. Also had a banana back at home.

Our wedding planner also picked up a sandwich tray from Costco for us to eat after the ceremony and before the reception. It was all good.

I'm thinking the same...I need to eat bc now I have no choice so even if I don't want to I have to...But I'm guessing something light so I won't have stomach problems later on the day

We had deli trays in the bridal suite as the girls were getting ready-

    Veggies, bread, dip, hummus

    Cheese and fruit

    Bagels, lox, cream cheese

    Coffee

    Mimosas

    Water

    Sparkling soda

I havent decided if i'll have breakfast for them yet, I have no idea what time my girls are showing up, somewhere between 9:00 and 10:00

I love the sound of Sushi @Blair!

I'm not sure what I'll plan on doing. I'm sure my girls will make me eat something. I honestly was thinking just a good ole protein shake and maybe some veggies. Nothing big.

My girls arrived at 10 am, and I had bagels, fruit, muffins, oj and coffee for everyone. While at the bagel place I had an egg sandwich made for me to get some protein in.

Then at 12:30 we had Panera brought in -- everyone ordered what they wanted, including the hair and makeup girls, and everyone was really happy to have the food. Even if you feel like you won't be able to eat, it's nice to have something for everyone else who isn't as nervous as you. And it will encourage you to get something in your stomach if everyone else is eating!!
