Small wedding. Do i need a Grand entrance?

Nancy, on July 27, 2020 at 2:15 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 8

We are having a small wedding (majority of guests are family) with no bridal party. Our ceremony and reception are in the same place and we plan to mingle with guests during the cocktail hour. should we still have a “Grand Entrance”? Seems sort of unnecessary?

I don't think so, but it would definitely be fun. I plan on seeing my guests prior, but I still want the grand entrance for the fun and photos! You really can do whatever you please. Good luck!

I don't think it's necessary. We're having a smaller (50) guest wedding on the beach and have no plans for any grand entrance.

We're having a small 50 guest wedding and still plan on doing a grand entrance! But if you don't want to you definitely don't have to!

If it's your style, then have one. But alot of people see it as redundant, regardless of guest count large or small, when you were just announced 10 minutes prior. Not everyone likes that much spotlight attention either. Personally I don't it's necessary.

Nope! You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to do.
Our guest list is around 100, and we’re skipping the grand entrance. All of our photos are being done before the ceremony, so we’ll be with our guests during cocktail hour. It seems silly for us to separate from them just to enter into the reception later.
