Small, Intimate Wedding Guest Books

Do people still do guest books when it's only a small intimate wedding? (I'm calling it an elopement, but there will be 26 people there)...

We are going to Vegas (from Canada), and it is just family, and three friends each coming with us. Would you still get a guestbook? What is something cool and personal that wouldn't just be a bunch of empty pages years later???

(We are having a social/celebration here when we get back, and I'm thinking of getting a photobook printed up with pictures of our day and having people sign that for the celebration, but not sure on the actual day of)

Ideas???

I love guest books. I have 45 guest at our DW and I plan on incorporating a polaroid to make sure guest take multiple pictures and add it to guest book along with a note. I got my guest book as a gift from my MOHs and is multiple pages so I will take advantage of that!

Our guest list is the same and yes we have a guestbook. I combined our guestbook with our engagement photos. Instead of people just signing their name they can leave messages and answer little questions and also view our engagment photos. Had it made on Shutterfly.

I had 40 guests at my wedding and we had a guest tree sketch where guests signed the branches. My DH made the frame.
