Small, intimate destination wedding

Jennifer, on January 15, 2017 at 3:19 PM Posted in Planning 0 9

I'm starting to look into small, inexpensive, all inclusive wedding packages where I can invite a small group of really close family and friends, get hitched, and not have to plan a ton of details myself. I know they exist, but I don't know how to find them. Any leads/advice/anyone done it?

I've done some google searches but I'm not seeing prices posted anywhere. Would love to stay within the south (united states).

Thanks!

I searched for the same thing in my area (Orlando, FL) but I had trouble finding any all inclusive packages regardless of the price. Pick a state and use the vendor tab, it's a lot of work initially but once you find your venue everything else will be easier to coordinate.

I'm not sure about all inclusive, I'm sure they are out there, just not familiar.

Another route you may consider is small DW, and then a nice restaurant for a dinner. They are usually some that will host a small party.

I keep seeing commercials for the Florida keys, maybe try there?

I'd start by looking at wedding planners on the coast. They will have packages that are all inclusive for the ceremony & they could tell you options of where to stay.

Look at resorts. Narrow down what kind of vibe you want, then find some resorts that fit the bill. That's where the all-inclusive wedding packages tend to be. I'm getting married at Hawaii's Mauna Lani Bay and they are handling basically everything for me.

How small are you thinking? I can't speak of venues in the south but I know some of the all inclusives in NY offered a smaller room when we had a guest like of 30. Those aren't advertised on their sites but like pricing, it's something they will mention when you contact them. Me recommendation and what I'm sure many brides here used? Many a list of the all inclusives in areas you're interested. Take a few days and call them.

Look at sunandseabeachweddings.com. They have customizable packages. I added stuff to a package just for fun and it turned out to be pretty cheap! It's in Florida.

It cuts off some of it but at the top there's a $975 fee and the fee for an arbor
