Small elopement style wedding-help?!

Kristi, on February 5, 2020 at 1:44 PM Posted in Planning 0 4
Hi all! So, my fiancé and I decided we are going to do an elopement style type of wedding with immediate family and my dad is going to marry us. we’re renting a home in a rural area on the coast, so the ocean is basically the backdrop of our ceremony then we will have dinner there not sure if we will cater or not, depending on location. My question is, when you are eloping in this type of way-is there music when you are walking out to your finance and how does that work? I want it to be well straight it and feel like a real wedding still- I can’t find any videos! Does anyone have experience with this or been to anything similar? Thank you in advance !

It's up to you whether to have music. If you don't want to hire a musician for a small outdoors ceremony, you could do something like an iPod with speakers.

Also having a private nuptial, in our home. We are having one of our witnesses work his magic with our vinyl collection.
Moody Blues, Days of Future Past will be playing during our ceremony

Sometimes silence is moving too. It's like holding your breath.

Hey there, Kristi! This is totally up to you and your FS. You could hire some musicians, or as the PP mentioned, use an iPod with a speaker. I'm sure a member of your family wouldn't mind helping out.
