Small Affordable beach wedding

I had a friend that got married at Barnegat lighthouse. Unfortunately I have no clue the price but it was a small intimate ceremony and the reception in Manahawkin.

If you're looking for hotels by the beach, you can use the WW venue finder tool to see all the options in your area. Tell it which beach you want, then you can filter the results under "type" to only see hotels.

Oy.....good luck with that. In season, at the Jersey shore, you're not going to find affordable. I'd look in other areas of NJ honestly. You're also talking four months from now, which is tough too.

Thanks for the advice I found one in Avalon at the Golden Inn and they are available but has anyone heard of them?

I've stayed at the Golden Inn pretty much every year for the past 20 years. It's fine. Avalon is gorgeous, not a real 'beachy' town, but every NJ shore town is crazy in the summer.

Avalon and Stone Harbor are located on beautiful 7 Mile Island, bordered on the East by the Atlantic Ocean and on the West by the Intercoastal Waterway. You will be impressed with the small town charm, quaint shopping districts, exceptional restaurants, and pristine beaches known for their sand dunes. 7 Mile Island is now a destination wedding resort, with increasing availability for year-round weddings, including summers. There are small and intimate ceremonies on 7 Mile Island beaches, churches and venues nearly every weekend. It's not too late and it's possible to find quiet and intimate venues even in the busy summer.

My friend got married at knights of Columbus in brigantine last year & it was surprisingly nice, and I think very affordable. Food was great, ceremony outside on the water. Actually I hired her photographer, bc she was super affordable too. Sugarmagnoliaphoto.com

My family has a beach house in Stone Harbor, where @WCCH suggested. It is beautiful! Could you rent a house for your family to stay? There will probably still be rentals available.
