Hey all! I'm wondering what some of your guys' opinions are about my wedding coming up and if you feel positive it could still happen the way I've planned? Like many of you brides, I am stressing during this virus thing. I know each wedding is different and unique, and we all have our own different vendors and locations, guest count, state, etc... But for my wedding, I've invited about 55 people, and anticipating only about 35-40 people will come. Most of my guests are not from out of state, and are only an hour drive away from the venue location. The venue is in a rural county in CA where not many covid cases are. The venue is also a restaurant (which is currently closed, so I hope will open soon so I can talk to them), with a big open field, small gardens, and pathways to walk around, so with this amount of people, I feel like it will be an easier controlled environment and easier social distancing for people if they choose to. I can also switch to a plated meals, and lawn games, the shoe game for entertainment, instead of dancing. Most of my vendors are also booked, just not paid in full yet. I have my dress and will be getting it altered in August. I guess I'm just looking for reassurance that my wedding can still possibly happen with all these different factors. 😔 Everything is just sad, and this time of my life is supposed to be happy, so I'm trying to stay positive. Anyone else having a similar type of wedding? How do you feel things will play out? Thanks brides, and my heart goes out to all of us!! ❤️
