It is not about the niece personally, it’s about an extra guest period.

For all I know my sister would have brought a random person. It just happens that was who she Wanted to bring. I have no issue with her stepdaughter who is almost the same age as me.

JUST remember this is your day and the only person that needs to be catered to is you and your FH. If she seriously feels some type of way about coming to the wedding alone cause she is single then you don't need the negative energy anyway. It suppose to be people you know and love and that support you on your big day, not so she can have a plus one. That is petty she just wouldn't be attending sorry not sorry, no extra stress needed.

OP, if I were you, at this point, I would delete both of your posts and pretend it never happened. I don't think you're going to get anywhere on these at this point. You seem to have made your bed and are content with lying in it. So I think at this point, all anyone can do is wish you luck and forgiveness from your sister.

Singles aren't required to be given a guest. But your family is worth considering. This is a kindness issue.

Also... Whether she can keep a job or a home has less than nothing to do with whether she deserves to be treated with kindness.

Also, we don't know your sister. But you have showed texts and emails and state they are direct quotes. From all I can see she has acted appropriately and you have started the most aggressively unnecessary drama out there.
