Shower 3 weeks before the wedding?

Why do you think that it's too close to the wedding? Will there be a lot of OOT guests invited to the shower? If everyone's local, then I don't see why it would be a problem.

Hmm I don't think it's too close. Mine is a month before. What is your worry? That you'll be too busy with planning?

Depends on if you have lots of out of towners but I think it's ok.

Mine is June 3 and the wedding is the 24th... I don't think it's too soon. It will give me a break from planning.

Oh okay!! I was thinking more of the cost. I don't want people to have to buy a shower gift and wedding gift within a short span of time. I know some people are on a tighter budget. I've always been to showers months before the wedding so I just wasn't sure. Thank you!

I think it will be fine! I just went to one that was a little under a month from her wedding. Not a big deal, I think 1-2 months is pretty standard, and 3 weeks would be fine as well

Do to logistics, my wedding shower is being thrown for me the day prior to my wedding.. and I am super excited about it .

Had shower this past sat and wedding is 5/20. I'm sure it's fine.

My FMIL is planning a couples shower for next Friday and we'll be getting married the following Saturday. It feels close but they planned it that way because FH grandma is coming into town from Florida for it and the wedding.
